A state-of-the-art information technology service… The IPSL makes available to the students, teachers, research fellows and administrative staff of the 5 institutions all the software and hardware resources required for their teaching, research and development and activities. The computer equipment and software is designed to meet the evolving educational needs of the different institutions. The Service manages a total of 650 networked computers, 350 of which of are pooled resources for student, classroom or open-access use; the remaining 300 are reserved for use by administrative and teaching staff.

The IPSL IT Service, which is shared by the five institutions, is responsible for the installation, maintenance, proper use and security of the systems.

The IPSL is part of the PACRRET Broadband Platform shared by all the higher education institutions in Cergy; this platform is connected in turn to the national network Renater. www.pacrret.prd.fr.

Two computer centres are at the disposal of the IPSL institutions. The internal team provides basic user assistance. The Help Desk provides assistance to the users of the IPSL information technology resources; it is always seeking to improve the services provided, from the initial contact with users to the organisation of interventions (scheduling, reservation of human and material resources) and the subsequent follow-up and problem resolution. Deux centres informatiques sont à la disposition des écoles de l'IPSL. Une assistance de 1er niveau est assurée aux utilisateurs par l'équipe interne. Le HelpDesk IPSL est chargé d’assister les utilisateurs des services informatiques IPSL mis à leur disposition. Il a pour mission d’améliorer le service rendu, tant au niveau de l’accueil utilisateur, qu’à l’organisation de l’intervention (planification/ réservation des ressources humaines et matérielles) et à son suivi jusqu’à sa clôture (Résolution du problème).

The Hotline service is open from 9.00 to 12.30 and from 13.30 to 18.00

The Support service is open from 9.00 to 12.30 and from 13.30 to 17.00
